The Nanjing Taipusi Scenic Area is located at the intersection of Xijian Road and Tianchang West Road in the urban area of Chuzhou City. Nanjing Taipusi was a central institution during the Ming Dynasty, alongside other national functional institutions such as the Dali Temple, Taichang Temple, Guanglu Temple, and Honglu Temple. As a subordinate institution of the Ministry of War, Taipusi was primarily responsible for the management of horses for war, royal carriages, and post stations, which is known as the horse administration. Before Emperor Zhu Di, also known as the Ming Chengzu, moved the capital to Beijing, this place was simply called Taipusi. After the relocation of the capital, to distinguish it from the Taipusi in Beijing, it was renamed Nanjing Taipusi. The scenic area includes the Taipusi Government Office, Fengle Pavilion, Bozilingqiu, Longchi Ancient Street, and other garden landscapes. With ‘Ming Culture’ as the main theme, it focuses on creating a comprehensive tourist attraction, emphasizing mountain greening restoration, garden paths, and small features. The opening hours are from January 1st to December 31st, from 08:00 to 17:30.
