At every stage of life, there are words we want to say but have not yet uttered for various reasons. Functionally, these words could be pivotal moments in our lives, yet it is impossible to predict whether they will lead to positive or negative outcomes, so we need not dwell on their functions. Emotionally, however, these unspoken words will always remain a regret, turning into a sigh every time they come to mind. Therefore, Diagonal Alley’s nationwide tour ‘Unsaid Words’ is based on the principle of ‘no regrets,’ aiming to convey as much as we want to say and express to you. We also hope that after watching our performance, you will be able to voice the ‘words you want to say’ that are buried in your heart, as these emotions should ultimately be communicated, regardless of their nature. This tour coincides with the 10th anniversary of Diagonal Alley. Although we can no longer remember the exact day the band was officially formed, we are certain it was a cold December night in 2014 when the three university classmates (lead vocalist Yifan, guitarist Shihua, and bassist Six) met and established the band in their school’s music club, also waiting for the band’s perfect fourth piece – drummer Tianhelong. After years of refinement, we will greet this extraordinary tour in the best condition. During this tour, we will showcase a decade of our journey through song arrangements, VJ, and stage design, sharing the stories we have experienced over the past ten years. We also look forward to hearing your stories with Diagonal Alley, telling us everything you want to say but haven’t yet. We have prepared a special 10th-anniversary merchandise, meticulously designed with attention to detail to commemorate the significant events of the past ten years of Diagonal Alley, which is definitely worth looking forward to! Of course, there are more new band merchandise in the pipeline, all of which will be organized and announced later. Although this tour begins in winter, as we always say, there is only one season at Diagonal Alley’s live performances – that is, midsummer! We look forward to meeting you in various places!
