Nanlei Yanhu refers to the scenery around Lianghui Reservoir. Lianghui Reservoir is elegantly called ‘Yanyan Lake’. It is 6 kilometers away from the urban area. In the lake area, there are Yanming Bridge, Yanqi Bridge and Fengxiang Bridge. The scenery is beautiful. Beside the lake are Leishan (large and small). Xie Weichen, a famous scholar in the Tang Dynasty, lived in seclusion here. 4 kilometers to the east, there are famous scenic spots such as Hua’an Twin Waterfalls and Longhu Thatched Cottage. Huang Lizhou (with the courtesy name Nanlei), a great thinker and historian in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, is also buried here. Open all year round and all day long.
