The Nantong Museum is the first public museum independently established by the Chinese people. It is shaded by green trees and has a beautiful environment. Taking a stroll here is very pleasant. Several buildings located here are the exhibition halls of the museum. The museum is divided into two parts: the new hall and the old hall. The new hall is on the southwest side of the park. Here, you can view cultural relics such as exquisite jade carvings and porcelain. The old hall mainly displays Zhang Jian’s life and some collections. Opening hours: From April 1st to September 28th, it is open from 05:30 to 18:00; from November 1st to December 31st, it is open from 05:30 to 17:00; from January 1st to March 31st, it is open from 05:30 to 17:00; from October 5th to October 31st, it is open from 05:30 to 18:00; from September 29th to October 4th, it is open from 05:30 to 21:00. Indoor exhibitions: Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 – 17:00 (entry stops at 16:30), closed on Mondays (except legal holidays).
