Nanxiang Old Street (i.e., the historical and cultural style protection area of twin towers announced by the municipal government) is located in the central area of Nanxiang Ancient Town, with a planned area of 143,400 square meters. There are four streets: Renmin Street, Gonghe Street, Jiefang Street, and Shengli Street. It is a traditional commercial area and residential area. After renovation, it has now restored the historical style of ‘Silver Nanxiang’ in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. With white walls and black tiles, houses stand in uneven rows. Large and small shops are lined up in close succession. Small bridges, flowing water, long corridors, and painting shops each have their own charm.
