The National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) is currently the largest single building and exhibition complex in the world, integrating functions such as exhibitions, conferences, offices, and commercial services. Located in the core area of the Hongqiao Business District in Shanghai, it is closely connected to Hongqiao High-Speed Railway Station and Hongqiao Airport, with Metro Line 2 running through, making transportation highly convenient.
The exhibition center consists of 400,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space and 100,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition areas, frequently hosting various types of exhibitions. The 16th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition held here is a grand automotive event, attracting major exhibitors from home and abroad and countless visitors. In addition, the 8th Shanghai International Bakery Exhibition and China International Robot Exhibition are also held here.
An 8-meter-high exhibition avenue connects various parts of the center, allowing visitors to conveniently walk between exhibition halls, commercial centers, and hotels for an easy visit. The commercial center located in the heart of the building gathers a variety of catering, leisure, and boutique shops, providing a place to rest or stroll at ease after a tiring day of viewing exhibits. The center is open year-round from 10:00 to 17:00, with the exterior accessible all day, while the interior is only open during exhibitions.
