The New Fourth Army Taihu Guerrilla Detachment Memorial Hall is primarily dedicated to commemorating the ‘Chongshan Breakthrough’. The memorial hall is divided into three chapters, and within, through panels, images, text, and artifacts, it fully displays the twists and turns of the initial establishment, re-establishment, and expansion of the New Fourth Army’s Taihu Anti-Japanese Team.

Not only does the hall exhibit the daily life items, combat tools, and letters used by the New Fourth Army soldiers, but it also recreates the reed marshes, communication boats, and contact stations of the Anti-Japanese War period. These vividly bring to life the arduous and extraordinary anti-Japanese struggle of the guerrilla fighters, immersing visitors in the historical context of the New Fourth Army’s Chongshan anti-Japanese period.

The hall is open all year round from 08:30 to 17:00.
