Ningbo Jiufeng Mountain is located between Daqiao Town and Chaiqiao Town in Beilun District, at the eastern end of the Jiangnan continental shelf, belonging to the Taibai Mountain branch of the Tiantai Mountain range. It is named for its nine towering peaks and ridges. The scenic area spans several miles, with Taibai Mountain to the south and the East China Sea to the north, offering a blend of mountain and sea landscapes, making it a fairyland on earth.

A poem once praised it as: ‘From afar, nine peaks in a row, green mountains carved into jade lotus.’ Soon, Jiufeng Mountain will become a beautiful backyard garden for Ningbo. The Jiufeng Mountain tourism area is composed of five scenic spots: Wang’ao Scenic Area, Ruiyan Scenic Area, Wuyanxia Youth Camping Area, Chengwan Reservoir, and Jiufeng Sports Valley. Each offers unique landscapes of mountains, forests, canyons, and lakes, where visitors can sightsee, worship Buddha, experience folk customs, or engage in leisure and entertainment, catering to various interests and enjoyment.

The area is open all year round from 08:00 to 16:00, except in special circumstances such as typhoons and blizzards.
