Ningbo Jiufeng Mountain is located between Dacheng Town and Chai’qiao Town in Beilun District. At the eastern end of the Jiangnan continental shelf, it belongs to the Taibai Mountain branch of the Tiantai Mountain Range. Named for its nine towering peaks that form a continuous range, it covers an area of several tens of miles. Backed by Taibai Mountain to the south and bordered by the East China Sea to the north, it offers a unique blend of mountain and sea landscapes, making it a fairyland on earth. A poem once praised it as: ‘From afar, the nine peaks rise unevenly, the green mountains carved out like jade lotus.’ Soon, Jiufeng Mountain will become a beautiful backyard garden for Ningbo.
