Currently, Ningbo Ocean World features two venues: the Aquarium and the Ocean Theater. The Aquarium has marine fish display areas with backgrounds such as the mysterious Angkor Wat, ancient Egyptian culture, and the vicissitudes of the Old Summer Palace ruins, where visitors can appreciate the beauty of marine life integrated with natural ecology. Additionally, there is a combination of three nationally renowned (multi-level, 180, 270) undersea viewing tunnels, allowing you to experience the dreamlike sensation of being deep in the ocean.
The Ocean Theater houses display areas for Japanese bottlenose dolphins, Russian belugas, Russian walruses, South American sea lions, Californian sea lions, Arctic wolves, Arctic foxes, and rockhopper penguins, as well as an ocean science education corridor, a beluga photo interaction area, and an ocean science museum. In the trendy and exciting Ocean Theater, the performance area can accommodate more than 2,500 spectators at a time, where you can watch the talents of marine animal stars on a dazzling stage under the spotlight.
Opening hours are from 08:15 to 17:30 all year round. Preferential policies include: Children under 1 meter (not including) are free; children between 1 meter (including) and 1.4 meters (not including) receive discounted tickets; seniors aged 70 and above (including) with ID cards receive discounted tickets; military personnel with valid documents receive discounted tickets; and people with disabilities with valid documents receive discounted tickets.
