The Xiangshan Caihua Paper-cut Art Museum, a cultural gem nestled within the forest park, encompasses an art museum, venue facilities, and supporting projects, spanning a construction area of 3,500 square meters. Its architectural style is a testament to simplicity and elegance, with the museum taking the form of a two-story, palace-style building.

The museum houses exhibition rooms dedicated to the works of Gao Miaolan, a renowned peasant painter, and Xie Caihua, a master paper-cut artist. In addition to these exhibition spaces, the museum also features training rooms, creation rooms, conference rooms, and cultural auditoriums. It includes outdoor attractions such as incorruptible and refreshing promenades, and the picturesque Qingfeng Bridge.

The museum serves as a multifunctional space, integrating exhibitions, trainings, creations, and exchanges. It is a treasure trove of art, displaying over 13,000 peasant paintings and paper-cut works by Gao Miaolan and Xie Caihua. Accessible to all, the museum operates without charge throughout the year.

Recognized for its cultural significance, the Xiangshan Caihua Paper-cut Art Museum has been designated as a Zhejiang intangible cultural heritage inheritance base, a provincial incorruptible culture education base, a Ningbo patriotism education base, a Ningbo intangible cultural heritage museum, a Xiangshan anti-cult paper-cut warning museum, a moral culture publicity and education base, and a quality education base for primary and secondary schools.

The museum’s doors are open to visitors from 08:00 to 16:00 every day from January 1st to December 31st.
