The Shanghai World Financial Center stands in the Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone. It is the fourth tallest building in China and is shaped like a bottle opener. Standing on the 100th-floor observation deck, you can look directly at the spire of the Oriental Pearl Tower. Stepping on the suspended sightseeing corridor and looking down at the scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River through the transparent glass under your feet is like walking in the clouds.


The Shanghai World Financial Center is 492 meters high and has 101 floors above ground. There are a total of 6 entrances. The basement 2 to the third floor are shopping malls and catering areas and do not require tickets. The 7th to 77th floors are offices. The 79th to 93rd floors are the Park Hyatt Hotel. Gate 2 is the entrance to the observation deck, located on Dongtai Road near Huayuan Shiqiao Road.


Enter the ticket sales and inspection area on the B1 floor from the entrance, and then take the high-speed elevator with a speed of up to 8 meters per second. It only takes 66 seconds to go from basement 2 to the 94th floor. The 94th to 100th floors are the observation decks. The tour can start from the 94th floor. Reach the 97th floor through the escalator. Walk across the sightseeing overpass and take the elevator to reach the 100th floor.


Of course, it can also be done in reverse. On the 94th floor, you can also buy postcards and mail postcards. 100th floor: Located at 474 meters. The highlight of this floor is a suspended sightseeing corridor about 55 meters long. The corridor is equipped with three transparent glass floors, through which you can clearly see the cars and pedestrians passing on the ground. 97th floor: Located at 439 meters.


The open glass ceiling design here is very special. On sunny days, the glass ceiling slides open to both sides. The entire observation deck is like a ‘flying overpass’. 94th floor: Located at 423 meters. With a height of 8 meters, the space is very spacious. You can have a panoramic view of the Huangpu River. There are also souvenir shops, cafes, and places to take commemorative climbing photos. Various exhibitions and activities can also be held here.
