Fifth of October Street is a famous old street in Macau. The street was named to commemorate the Portuguese revolution on October 5, 1910, which overthrew the monarchy and established the republic. To commemorate this event, the Macao-Portuguese government changed the name of Sikou Meng Street to October 5th Street. This area has a strong nostalgic atmosphere, and there are many shops and gourmet restaurants worth visiting.
