The screening venue of the open-air cinema is located at the Sun and Moon Theater in Xizha. The movie screen is on the mottled old wall and is painted with white lime. When screening, an old-fashioned film projector is used, which is a very nostalgic experience.
When weather conditions permit, classic old movies such as ‘Tunnel Warfare’, ‘Landmine Warfare’, and ‘The Adventures of Sanmao’ will be screened on the square at 19:00 every day. The duration is about 1.5 hours. Viewers do not need to buy tickets when screening and can enter freely and watch while sitting on benches. Opening hours: Open from 19:00 to 20:00 all year round. Must-see tips: 1. In case of rainy days, the screening will be suspended. 2. Tourists need to enter the Xizha scenic area with tickets. Watching does not require additional ticket purchase and they can enter freely.
