Pan’an Baizhangtan

Baizhangtan is about 32 kilometers away from Anwen Town, Pan’an County. It takes waterfalls, pools and streams as the essence. The scenic area is mainly composed of three-tiered waterfalls. The stream flows down the steep cliff into the Praying for Rain Pool. The three waterfalls are connected and form a unique waterfall body layer by layer. In seasons with abundant rainfall, the scenery of the waterfall is more beautiful. It is very cool to play here in summer. The entire route design of the scenic area is to circle around the middle stream and it is very easy to walk. Entering the scenic area is a covered bridge. You can take an electric car here to the Wukeng Rest Corridor on the left (10 yuan/time), and then start walking. However, it is more recommended to walk up the mountain counterclockwise and take the car back when going down the mountain to avoid the steep uphill road. Walk towards the Zhulian Waterfall on the right. The road here is gentle and gradually rises. The waterfalls are more and more beautiful one after another, with surprises one after another. Walking up along the footpath, there are streams and bamboo forests all the way, which feels very good. Passing Longtan Lake and Xiankeng Waterfall, when reaching the higher viewing waterfall pavilion, the classic Baizhangtan, Wolongtan and Praying for Rain Pool are nearby. Looking here, the scenery of waterfalls and deep pools is very magnificent. Then go down the mountain along the Jinli Ancient Road. At the bottom is the Wukeng Rest Corridor. After a short rest, you can take an electric car back to the exit. The Jinli Ancient Road is steep and there are no scenic spots around. Relatively speaking, it is easier to go down the mountain from here. There is no catering supply in the scenic area. There are several small restaurants behind the parking lot outside the scenic area where you can have a meal. However, the游玩 time here is not long, and you can also prepare some dry food by yourself.
