The Peace Hotel Museum is located within the Peace Hotel in Shanghai. The museum displays a collection of ‘antique-level’ items such as a copper ice bucket engraved with the words ‘Cathay Hotel’ (the former name of the North Building of the Peace Hotel), copper thermos bottles, and silver spoons, along with calligraphy and paintings by renowned artists such as Wu Changshuo, Fu Baoshi, and Liu Haisu. It is the first museum in China established in the form of a hotel. The museum is open to the public from 10:00 to 19:00 all year round, exclusively for hotel guests.
