Tiantong Temple is located at the foot of Mount Taibai in Yinzhou District, Ningbo, and was originally established during the Western Jin Dynasty. It is one of the five famous mountains of the Buddhist Zen sect and is known as the ‘Buddhist Kingdom of the Southeast’, with a history of over 1700 years. Legend has it that during the Western Jin period, the monk Yixing traveled to this place, built a hut, and practiced diligently in seclusion. In the desolate mountains, a child would bring him food and water every day, and subsequently, the temple was built. The opening hours will be based on the actual opening conditions of the day.
