Pengzu Temple, constructed during the Eastern Han Dynasty, has been restored three times during the Tang, Ming, and Qing dynasties. The original temple complex included a main hall and eastern and western side halls. Inside the main hall stands a statue of Pengzu, bald and barefoot, approximately 4 meters tall. Flanking him are a male and a female attendant, Taohua and Zhou Wu. The eastern and western walls feature statues of four deities, Wen, Liu, Ma, and Zhao, all figures from the Zhou Dynasty.

The eastern side hall houses a statue of Guanyin. Sixty meters in front of the temple stands the legendary Pengzu Well, said to have been dug by Pengzu himself, and considered the best well in the world. It has been the source of drinking water for generations in Dapeng Village. In the northeast corner of the temple lies Pengzu’s tomb and a fragmentary stele.
