Pilu Temple, also known as the former site of the Chinese Buddhist Association, is located in Xuanwu District, Nanjing City. It was originally built during the mid-Ming Dynasty and was expanded by Zeng Guoquan during the Guangxu period. The temple, which houses the statue of Vairocana Buddha, was initially named Pilu An. It once served as the headquarters for the national Buddhist association. The temple is open to the public all year round from 07:00 to 17:00.
