Pò Lóng Jiàn, also known as ‘Dou Long Jian’ and ‘Jiang Long Gu Jian’, is located in front of the main mountain gate of Xingfu Temple in Changshu. The gorge’s rocks are all reddish in color, and it is said to have been formed due to a dragon fight that caused a mountain collapse. Above the gorge, there is a ‘Luohan Bridge’, whose surface is a single massive stone weighing over ten tons, rumored to have been built by a Luohan. Below the bridge, the rocks stand out, with a larger one resembling a toad and weighing hundreds of tons, commonly referred to as the ‘Toad Stone’. After heavy rain, visitors can enjoy the sight of waterfalls and the sound of flowing springs beside the bridge. It is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
