Pu Fu Zen Temple was originally built during the Song Dynasty’s Xiancun era. According to historical evidence, the ‘Hulu Temple’ mentioned at the beginning of Cao Xueqin’s ‘Dream of the Red Chamber’ refers to Pu Fu Zen Temple on Shantang Street. The restored Pu Fu Zen Temple covers an area of approximately 1100 square meters. In the long corridor behind the Mahavira Hall, there are 12 scenes from the original ‘Dream of the Red Chamber’ meticulously arranged.
