Qian Mu (1894-1990), styled Bin Si, was a native of Qifangqiao, Yanxiang Township, Wuxi. He is recognized as a prominent historian, educator, and master of Chinese traditional studies in modern China. The residence they once rented from the Wang family (1903-1906) has been restored and now serves as his former residence, covering an area of 710 square meters. It displays Qian Mu’s life story and his childhood, educational, and teaching experiences in Dangkou. The site is open all year round from 09:00 to 17:00.
