The Qian family is a prominent and influential clan in Wuxi. Among them, Qian Zhongshu is famous as the ‘Cultural Kunlun’. The former residence of Qian Zhongshu was constructed in 1923 by Qian Zhongshu’s grandfather, Qian Futong. The entire building is a traditional Jiangnan courtyard-style residence. The former residence adopts modern display methods and showcases the extraordinary life of Qian Zhongshu.
