Qiangjiao Archipelago is a group of ancient and mysterious islands, with thousands of years of human history adding a sense of gravity to its legacy. Cruising on the sea and gazing into the distance, the blue sky blends with the azure ocean, covering an area of over 20 square kilometers, where 12 small islands are scattered like stars, resembling a crystal necklace embedded in the vast green waves. It is indeed a veritable ‘Thousand Islands on the Sea’. Among the Qiangjiao Archipelago, Baishishan Island is renowned for its peculiar rocks; Zhongshan Island is known for its lush flora competing in beauty; and Hengshan Island, adorned with ancient poems and towering trees, offers a dense canopy that reaches down to the sea. Since the early Ming Dynasty, this place has been a thriving ‘Little Putuo’. The islands are open all year round, 24 hours a day, with specific business hours subject to daily availability. It is important to note that Hengshan Island is still under development and has not officially opened to the public.
