Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis Resort is composed of Sunac Paradise and Water World, dedicated to creating a ‘one-stop’ family leisure experience destination in Qingdao. Sunac Paradise, integrating Qingdao’s urban culture, includes two main areas: Laoshan Wonders and German Town, featuring numerous entertainment projects such as customized hanging roller coasters for thrilling experiences, as well as carousels, Ferris wheels, and mini-driving schools that are full of childlike innocence. Water World, with ocean elements as its highlight, greets visitors with a massive ‘cruise ship’ upon entry, flanked by Diamond Island and Surf Bay themed areas, boasting 18 star attractions including super bowls, vertical slides, and water roller coasters. Among them, the 360 interactive experience game ‘Sea and Air Battle’ stands out for its unique features. The water park maintains a constant temperature, allowing visitors to enjoy the joy of water all year round.
Operating hours are as follows: the entire year, Friday to Saturday from 10:00 to 22:00; the entire year, Monday to Thursday, and Sunday from 10:00 to 21:40. For Sunac Paradise: Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 – 21:40, last admission at 21:40; Friday and Saturday: 10:00 – 22:00, last admission at 22:00. For Water World: Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 – 21:00, last admission at 19:30; Friday and Saturday: 10:00 – 22:00, last admission at 20:30.
Service facilities include restrooms located throughout the resort, near the bumper car ticket booth in Sunac Paradise, the Sunshine Water Village in Water World, and the northeast corner of the entrance to Movie World, all clearly marked with prominent signs. Dining options are also available within the park, near the Flower Basket Ferris Wheel and the Cave Drift, again marked with prominent signs.
