Millions of years of wind and rain erosion have shaped Qingquan Mountain, bestowing upon it the majestic grandeur of northern peaks as well as the beautiful and steep charm of southern landscapes. The main peak of Qingquan Mountain stands at 888 meters and is named Beauty Peak as it resembles a sleeping beauty lying on her back. The beauty’s head is a hundred meters high and her body is over 2000 meters long, vividly depicted. The Qinglong Pool shimmers with clear ripples, with the lake and mountain scenery complementing each other. Qingquan Mountain also has many caves. The 1500-meter long ‘Shuilong Cave’ is filled with stalactites and stone flowers, and rugged rocks. Yellow dogwood bushes cover the mountains and turn red like fire in late autumn, creating a spectacular sight. The South Heavenly Gate and the stone forest rise into the Baiyun Mountain.
