Qinshan Nuclear Power Station is the first nuclear power plant in China that was independently researched, designed, and constructed. It is located 8 kilometers east of Wu Yuan Town in Haiyan County, by the Hangzhou Bay in Qinshan Town.
Visiting the Nuclear Science and Technology Museum here will broaden your horizons. Qinshan Nuclear Power Station includes a publicity and reception center, a 45-meter long viewing pavilion, a thousand-meter sea wall, and a thousand-meter tunnel.
The publicity and reception center houses a nuclear science and technology museum, a patriotism education museum, a model exhibition hall, and a screening room, allowing visitors to quickly understand the overall development and safety of China’s nuclear power within a short time.
This place not only turns the nuclear power base into an industrial technology tourism area but also serves as a promotional window for Haiyan to the outside world. The opening hours and business status are subject to the actual opening conditions on the day.
