Qizhong Garden Golf Club

Shanghai Qizhong Garden Golf Club was established in 1995 and began operations in October 1999. The club underwent renovation in October 2011 and reopened in July 2013. Located in the highly industrial and commercial MinHang District in southwest Shanghai, the club covers an area of 1050 acres and features a standard 18-hole championship golf course. The full length of the 18 holes is 7208 yards, with a standard par of 72. The total construction area of the club, practice range, and ancillary facilities is over 8000 square meters, making it a high-end members-only golf club in the Shanghai area.

On the land of over a thousand acres, master designers have laid out the course around the lakes. Compared to the flat terrain of most other golf courses in Shanghai, the club’s varying elevations and undulating fairways are distinctive. With five different tee boxes, members with varying handicaps can all enjoy the game. The wide fairways offer multiple tee shot options, while the bunkers on either side of the fairways challenge the skills of expert players. The large green areas may seem unchallenging at first glance, but the slope and speed of the greens require careful consideration from golfers. Various trees and shrubs line the fairways, separating each hole and concealing the cart paths, providing golfers with a sense of privacy. Seasonal plants add different colors to the course throughout the year.
