Qujiang Park is located at the intersection of Wenchang Middle Road and Yunhe North Road, covering an area of 158,000 square meters. The main entrance of the park faces south, with the main path running north-south and east-west paths interspersed throughout, creating a harmonious layout. Upon entering through the south gate, the first 100 meters lead to the artificial lake. The path to the east leads to the central square, while the path to the west leads to the amusement park. The central square is surrounded by water, with a higher area paved with marble and a water’s edge featuring a 100-meter long wooden promenade. From the central square, two paths radiate to the east and southeast directions; the former leads to the fishing platform, park teahouse, and boat dock, while the latter leads to the lake pavilion and other places. Heading north from the lake pavilion on the main road, one passes by the teahouse and peony garden, crosses a small stone bridge, and encounters two forked paths: the one to the east leads directly to the east side door, while the one to the north follows the lake’s stone path leading to the amusement park. In 2015, the park introduced Yangzhou City’s ‘Smart’ Fitness Trail, which is approximately 1.2 kilometers long. The trail is dubbed ‘smart’ because exercisers can check their exercise status on LED screens at any time through network signals. The LED screens display exercisers’ physical indicators and other indexes through the connection of electronic wristbands and screens, allowing people to directly feel the benefits of exercise on the body. The park is open all day from January 1st to December 31st.
