Railway Village Four is located by the Yangtze River and adjacent to the Huangjueping old campus of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing. The entrance is at the bottom of the steps from the institute. Here are old houses, abandoned railway tracks, green train railways and other elements of the old city. It is a quiet and cinematic internet-famous photo spot. Entering Railway Village Four and walking through a narrow alley, you will see two or three railway tracks. On both sides of the tracks are dilapidated old houses. The intricate wires overhead, the moss-covered roofs, and the dams with flowery bedsheets drying on them. The strong atmosphere of city life is extremely similar to the slow-paced life of the 1980s. Walking deeper into Railway Village Four, you come to the famous railway track fork. The view instantly becomes wide open. The smooth arcs of the railway tracks split to both sides in the village. The houses on both sides are close to the railway, and the scenery is very unique. Here, in addition to taking some nostalgic railway photos, there is also an old Chongqing cultural lounge – Junge Bookstore. Most of the books in the bookstore are about Chongqing’s history, transportation, economy, etc. They are very old. Some book covers have already turned yellow. There is a tea table in the middle of the bookshelf. You can sit and drink tea, chat, and read books.
