The remains of the Mining and Railway School are located at 283 Zhongshan North Road, Nanjing City. It covers an area of 273 square meters. The Mining and Railway School is attached to the Jiangnan Land Forces School. It was founded in 1890 (the sixteenth year of Guangxu) upon the petition of Zhang Zhidong, the governor-general of Guangdong and Guangxi. Remaining are the remains of the building for German instructors of the original Mining and Railway School. Open all year round and all day. The exterior is open all day.
