Located within Rizhao Binhai National Forest Park, the Forest & Milu Deer Garden is an ecological cultural tourism project themed around ‘forest milu deer’. It is situated north of Cuiliu River and west of Heisong Road, covering a total land area of approximately 350 acres, with a core breeding area of 20 acres. The garden includes facilities such as ecological deer sheds, water-friendly deer pools, and ecological cultural boardwalks.
Twenty milu deer were introduced from Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, for their protection, breeding, and scientific education. It is understood that the milu deer is one of the world’s rare animals; at its lowest point, the global population was only 18 individuals, which has gradually increased through continuous breeding. The garden is open year-round from 08:30 to 17:00. Preferential policies for children include free entry for those under 1. 2 meters in height (not including 1.2 meters), and discounted tickets for those between 1.2 meters (including) and 1.5 meters (including).Rizhao Forest Park and Milu Deer Garden
