Rizhao Haichang Ocean Exploration Hall is located in Li Jia Tai, Shanhaitian Tourism Resort Area, and was formerly known as the Ocean Science Popularization Base of Rizhao City Ocean and Fisheries Research Institute. As an important science popularization venue in Rizhao City, the Ocean Exploration Hall is based on the concept of ‘Blue Ocean, Green Home’. It includes three major themes, four relationships, and nine exhibition areas.
It presents the origin, development, current status, and future of the ocean through easily understandable descriptions, specimens, 4D models, installations, paintings, AR, multimedia, and interactive games, making ocean knowledge more comprehensive, practical, intuitive, and participatory. The hall is open from July 18th to 19th from 08:30 to 17:30; and from July 20th to August 31st from 08:00 to 18:00.
