The architecture has a clear axis and was initially built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. The building group is divided into three routes, consisting of Ruan’s East Residence, Ruan’s Ancestral Temple, and Ruan’s West Residence. The entire building is now listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province.
