The Russian Embassy in China, located at the corner of the Northeast Second Ring Road, began construction in 1956. It occupies an area of 16.5 hectares, approximately 250 mu, making it one of the larger foreign embassies in Beijing, both at the time of construction and today. The total construction area is 65,000 square meters, comprising of an office building, ambassador’s residence, banquet hall, reception room, staff dormitories, and gardens.
