SanTiaoYing Historical and Cultural Block is located to the east of ShuangTang Garden (Road) and the existing alleys, to the west of the planned ShangJiang Kaopeng Road, to the south of the planned XinMin Fang Road, and to the north of SanTiaoYing and the former residence of Jiang ShouShan. The area retains the overall style and spatial texture of the Ming and Qing dynasties, with pleasant alley scales, simple and ancient architecture, and a significant difference from the modern urban landscape, making it a unique and rare view in Nanjing.

Inside the block, there is one provincial-level cultural preservation unit, which is the QinHuai residential group (SanTiaoYing ancient buildings, also known as ‘Jiang ShouShan’s former residence’). The area also has a number of other structures and ancient trees, totaling four stone carvings, eleven ancient wells, and twenty-eight ancient and large trees. At the same time, intangible cultural heritages like Yunjin brocade and paper lantern making are rich.
