The musical ‘The Lighthouse’ does not have a thrilling plot. It tells the story of an elderly lighthouse keeper who wants to repair an abandoned pirate ship and sail back to his hometown. To fulfill this wish, the lighthouse keeper hires a young ship repairman named Hope and then coincidentally meets Wyan. A large part of the entire play narrates the daily life of the three people with greatly different ages and backgrounds getting along with each other with mutual help in pairs. There is no dramatic plot, but it reveals the warmth of human kindness in the depths of details.
