‘Aquele Abraco’ (That Embrace), the opening music of the Rio Olympics, a Brazilian song. Its creator, Gilberto Gil, is a godfather figure in the entire Brazilian music scene. This song is precisely the ‘farewell anthem’ to Brazil that Gil wrote while in exile. As the melody begins, the lively notes are like a gentle breeze on the streets of Brazil, playful and leisurely, instantly sweeping you into the passionate and unrestrained South American style picture scroll. The light rhythm is like the joyful footsteps of people, shuttling through the colorful alleys. Follow this ‘Tropical Rhythm’ to Latin America, bid farewell to the cold of winter, and feel the fiery romance. Here, there are like-minded people, there is light and beautiful music, you can swing freely on the dance floor, or listen quietly on the side, this night is fully yours.
