Li Xinmei, a vocal music actor of the Shanghai Light Music Troupe, is a member of the Shanghai Musicians Association and a member of the Vocal Music Professional Committee of the Shanghai Musicians Association. She is a powerful Miao singer and graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Her vocal range is wide and tension-filled. Her singing is delicate and infectious, and her singing styles are diverse. She has won the gold medal in the popular singing category of the “Singer TV Contest of Six Provinces and One City in East China”, the silver medal in the popular singing category of the “Love My China” National Young Singer TV Grand Prix of the Ministry of Culture, and the “Best Newcomer Award” of the National Ethnic Minority Literature and Art Festival. She was also the first “Performing Star” of Shanghai Media Group. She has successfully held the “”Rose on the Sea” Li Xinmei’s Solo Concert” at the Shanghai Yihai Theater and the “Special Concert of Young Singer Li Xinmei and Her Friends” at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center, receiving extensive praise. Her original songs include “E Minor Nocturne Dance”, “Dreaming Back to Miaoshan Mountain”, “Symphony of Infatuation”, “Waltz While Waiting for the Bus”, etc. In August 2023, her original jazz song album “Hearing Shanghai Bund” was released online, which contains six jazz songs such as “Moonlight over Binjiang”, “Looking for Memories on Tian’ai Road”, “Secretly Thinking of You on a Rainy Night on the Bund”, “In the Coffee Shop on Hengshan Road”, “E Minor Nocturne Dance”, and “Hearing Shanghai Bund”. Ding Yifan, a vocal music actor of the Shanghai Light Music Troupe, is a member of the Communist Party of China, holds a master’s degree in vocal music, is a member of the Popular Music Association of the Chinese Musicians Association, a director of the Changning District Musicians Association in Shanghai, and a member of the Pudong New Area Political Consultative Conference. He has won the “Wenhua Vocal Music Performance Award” of the Ministry of Culture, the gold medal in the popular singing group of the Shanghai division of the CCTV Youth Song Contest, and the gold medal in the Yangtze River Delta Original Popular Song Contest. In 2023, he won the gold medal in the popular singing category of the Osaka-Kobe International Art Festival in Japan. His representative works include “Hanbi Bay”, “The Bee-Keeping Woman in Nalati”, “Anqing”, the movie ending song “Beautiful Countryside”, and the theme song of the TV drama “Meishui Ballad”. He has released his first original album “Songs Under the Moonlight”.

In 2014, she participated in the classic musical “Les Misérables” at the Shanghai Concert Hall and played the female lead Cosette. In 2016, she participated in the CCTV program “Who is the Soldier Star” and won the third place in the monthly competition and successfully advanced to the annual finals. In the same year, she was invited to participate in the CCTV “I am a Soldier” special program for August 1st and sang the song “Please Don’t Call Me a Girl”.
In 2023, the original compositions and performances of the songs ‘Guarding Shanghai as Always’ and ‘Neighborhood Diary’ received the ‘Outstanding Song Award’ at the 38th Shanghai Spring International Music Festival’s inaugural original song collection and selection event.
