The Shanghai Greenhouse Garden is located in the central position of Shanghai Expo Culture Park, close to the central lake and backed by Twin Mountains. It covers an area of about 22,000 square meters, and the total construction area above and below ground is about 40,000 square meters. It is a multi-functional ecological complex integrating sightseeing, leisure and entertainment. They respectively display tropical arid plants, tropical rainforest plants and tropical flower plants. In terms of display form, efforts are made to show the extension from plants to museums + culture, so as to create an immersive exhibition greenhouse that is good-looking and fun. In the future, high-tech means such as multimedia images, artistic lighting, and mobile phone interaction will be introduced to create a unique sci-fi and wonderful night tour experience.


Stay tuned. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year from 09:00 to 17:00; closed all day on Monday throughout the year; open from 09:00 to 17:00 during the Spring Festival. Preferential policies: Children: Children between 1.0 meter (inclusive) and 1.4 meters (exclusive) enjoy preferential treatment; children under 1.0 meter (exclusive) (must be accompanied by adults, one adult is limited to bringing two children; non-group), free.

Special groups such as active servicemen: Active servicemen, disabled servicemen, martyr’s dependents, dependents of servicemen who died on duty, dependents of servicemen who died of illness, family members of active servicemen, on-duty/retired/disabled fire rescue personnel (including full-time government firefighters) and students of fire rescue colleges and universities enjoy preferential treatment with valid certificates.
