The performance venue of Shanghai Jixinzhao Circus is located at ‘Shanghai Happy Valley OCT Grand Theater’. It is expected to officially premiere in July 2024. The entire performance is composed of outstanding actors from multiple countries such as Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine. The main body of the circus is the Kazakhstan Circus (formerly the national circus of the former Soviet Union).


Based on having world-renowned famous actors, it also invites circus elites from more than 20 countries across Asia, Europe, America, Africa, etc. to perform on the same stage. And there are 12 meritorious actors from former Soviet countries. ‘Silk Road Legend’ takes the Silk Road as the story background, promotes the spirit of the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’, promotes the friendship between China and Kazakhstan and surrounding countries, deepens cultural exchanges among multiple countries, and drives the economic and trade development and exchanges of multiple countries.


The program production uses unique technologies such as the world’s advanced sound, light, and electricity high-tech to carefully create an innovative and unique circus world with a story, connotation, wonderful interpretation, and fascinating. The entire performance is jointly created and produced by world-renowned Russian directors, famous Kazakh directors, and meritorious artists. As an international-level circus team, there are not only more than ten kinds of programs such as the life-and-death big flywheel, happy swing, and clown interaction, but also galloping steeds, heroic Russian girls, and various difficult movements that are sure to win the enthusiastic screams of the audience.


It also combines multiple elements such as hot dance performances, fairy tales, soft art, acrobatic performances, and clown art, allowing guests to experience the astonishment, danger, beauty, and strangeness of the big circus up close and allowing the audience to enjoy a thrilling audio-visual feast smoothly. Opening hours: From November 1st to November 30th, Monday to Thursday, closed all day; From November 1st to November 30th, Friday, open from 19:30 to 20:50; From November 1st to November 30th, Saturday and Sunday, open from 13:00 to 14:30 and 17:00 to 18:20; From December 1st to October 31st, closed all day.


Admission is allowed 90 minutes in advance. Preferential policies: Children: Children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) in height are free. Children do not have exclusive seats and must enter and watch the performance accompanied by adults. One adult ticket can only bring one free child.
