Shanghai Matrix, located at 500 Dongdaming Road, Hongkou District, Shanghai, is situated in the Bund Cruise City Binjiang Green Space (southeast of Rainbow Bridge, search for ‘Shanghai Matrix’ on Amap). The project covers an area of approximately 800 square meters and stands about 20 meters high, with a 400-square-meter observation platform on the top floor.
The Shanghai Matrix consists of five layers of steel structure. The ground floor is designated as a children’s play area, featuring 16 different play projects, catering to children under 140cm in height with parental accompaniment for an enjoyable experience. The second to fourth floors are designed for adult climbing challenges, offering up to 96 climbing elements of varying difficulty levels, allowing users to choose based on their physical fitness. The top floor is a 400-square-meter ‘Magic Sky Island’ observation platform, where visitors can take in the spectacular views of the cruise terminal and the ‘Golden Triangle’ along the Huangpu River. This platform is also an excellent venue for hosting fashionable parties, art appreciation events, outdoor weddings, and brand launches.
In addition, the Shanghai Matrix offers customized special features: a 40-meter long spiral ‘Crazy Slide’ that allows a panoramic view of Lujiazui and the Bund within just 15 seconds through its custom transparent body; a 15-meter high ‘Giant Swing’ that uses an electric motor to pull the swing to a 50-degree angle, from where visitors can initiate the thrilling descent themselves, eliciting spontaneous cheers and screams; and a ‘Low Altitude Bungee Jump’ that simulates the bungee jumping experience by the Huangpu River, using European suspension and rapid descent equipment, testing courage and elevating one’s experience.
