Originally known as Big Bus, the Bus Tour is a collaboration with the UK-based BigBus company, offering a double-decker sightseeing bus experience to explore the essence of Shanghai. Passengers can enjoy a 360-degree view of the city from the upper deck and have the freedom to get on and off at will, planning their own sightseeing itinerary. The sightseeing buses operate in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and other locations, all under the same company. The routes pass by famous landmarks in Shanghai and are divided into three lines: Shanghai Sightseeing Tour Line 1 (Tourism Line 4), Shanghai Sightseeing Tour Line 3 (Tourism Line 6), and Shanghai Sightseeing Tour Line 2 (Tourism Line 5). Lines 1 and 3 cover the Puxi area, while Line 2 covers the Pudong area.
Each bus is equipped with a guide device in eight languages, providing commentary on Shanghai’s culture, history, and related information. The routes are as follows:

Shanghai Sightseeing Tour Line 1 (Tourism Line 4) (Shanghai City Tour) Route (formerly the Red Line): Nanjing Road (New World City) – People’s Square (Shanghai Museum) – People’s Park (Shanghai Art Museum) – Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street (in front of the Guxiang Hotel) – The Bund A (Sanyang Food), which has been moved south to 20 meters south of Zhongshan East Road and Nanjing East Road (opposite The Bund 18) since January 13 – The Bund B (Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions) – Shi Liu Pu (Pujiang Cruise Terminal) – Yu Garden (Renmin Road and Yong’an Road) – Xintiandi (in front of Starbucks).

Shanghai Sightseeing Tour Line 2 (Tourism Line 5) (Shanghai Pudong Tour) Route (formerly the Blue Line): The Bund A (Sanyang Food), which has been moved south to 20 meters south of Zhongshan East Road and Nanjing East Road (opposite The Bund 18) since January 13 – The Bund B (Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions) – Oriental Pearl Tower (Gate 2) – Shanghai World Financial Center and Jin Mao Tower – Old Wharf – Shi Liu Pu (Pujiang Cruise Terminal).


Shanghai Sightseeing Tour Line 3 (Tourism Line 6) (Shanghai Ancient City Tour) Route (formerly the Green Line): Nanjing Road (New World City) – Shanghai Museum – Huaihai Road (Hua Shi Plaza) – Jing’an Temple – Portman Ritz Hotel – Shanghai TV Station – People’s Park (Shanghai Art Museum).


Operating hours are from 09:00 to 17:30 all year round. Red Line: 09:00-17:00 (Red Line Night Service 17:00-20:00, operating from May 1st to October 31st, subject to cancellation due to adverse weather or other force majeure events). Blue Line: 09:30-17:30. Green Line: 09:15-16:45.


Concessions for children: Free entry for children under 1.3 meters (not including) when accompanied by an adult.
