The Shanghai Songhu Anti-Japanese War Memorial Park at No. 1, Youyi Road, Baoshan District was built in 1956 and was initially named ‘Friendship Park’. The old-timers in Baoshan all know that it was previously called ‘Linjiang Park’. In 2015, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the August 13th Songhu Battle, the victory of the Chinese people’s Anti-Japanese War and the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War, the park was renovated and more content related to the Songhu Battle was incorporated, and it was renamed ‘Shanghai Songhu Anti-Japanese War Memorial Park’.
