After its inauguration, the fastest travel times from Shanghai Hongqiao to Shanghai Songjiang, Suzhou South, and Huzhou Nanxun stations are 16 minutes, 26 minutes, and 43 minutes, respectively; the fastest travel time to Huzhou Station is 55 minutes, a reduction of 55 minutes compared to previous routes. To cater to different travel needs of passengers, the railway department has implemented a flexible discount and differentiated market-based fare mechanism on the Hu Su Hu High-Speed Railway, providing more options for travelers.
