The Shanghai Symphony Music Museum chronicles the history of symphonic music in Shanghai. The property’s original owner, Zhou Zongliang (1857-1957), a native of Ningbo, was one of the four great dye magnates. Before visiting, it is recommended to do some homework and learn about Zhou Zongliang.
The museum’s architecture is distinctive, located in the city’s core, within the复兴Heng style preservation area, ensuring a visit that yields double rewards. Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 09:30 to 16:30; closed all day on Monday and Sunday.
