The Shanghai Urban History Development Exhibition Hall is located in the Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower. It is a visual exhibition reflecting the historical changes of modern Shanghai. The entire exhibition hall is composed of seven parts: ‘Tracing the Origins of Huating’, ‘Urban Landscape’, ‘Glimpses of the Port Opening’, ‘Ten Miles of Foreign Concessions’, ‘Maritime Pursuit’, ‘Architectural Exposition’, and ‘The Spring and Autumn of Vehicles and Horses’.
The exhibition hall adopts a scenic display method of ‘integrating objects into the scenery’, supplemented by high-tech technical means, integrating cultural relics, props, and models. It is an exhibition that integrates history, culture, and appreciation and has an innovative concept.
