Dianshan Lake is located in Qingpu District, Shanghai, adjacent to Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. It is one of the larger freshwater lakes in Shanghai, covering an area of 62 square kilometers and belonging to the Taihu Basin. The lake offers a delightful scene with reeds swaying in the wind, fishing boats drifting on the lake, and lotus flowers smiling in the ponds.


Scattered around the lake are the renowned ancient town of Zhujiajiao, the Shanghai Grand View Garden, the Oriental Green Boat, and the Shanghai Sun Island, among others. The lake is open all year round, 24 hours a day, with specific opening hours subject to the on-site announcement at the scenic area.
