The Shanghai Zoo has more than 600 species of animals. There are various animal exhibition areas such as amphibians and reptiles, herbivores, beasts, and birds. There are also exhibition halls such as the Science and Education Center, Goldfish Gallery, and Butterfly Hall. There is also the Swan Lake with lush reeds, where pelicans, swans, mandarin ducks and other birds inhabit. The whole park is full of flowers and leaves, with an elegant environment. There is also a small river flowing through it. Playing and sunbathing on the large lawn, boating, and taking the Ferris wheel are also good choices.
