Shangyu Museum is located on the top of Alarm Hill on Renmin Middle Road in the urban area. The museum has four basic exhibitions: ‘Shangyu Yue porcelain’, ‘Tianxianglou Inscriptions and Stele Corridor’, ‘Exhibition of High-tech Products in Shangyu City’, and ‘Liangzhu Culture Exhibition’. Shangyu Yue porcelain mainly exhibits ceramics from Hemudu culture to the Northern Song Dynasty, completely reflecting the history of Shangyu Yue kiln from its emergence, maturity to development and decline. Liangzhu culture mainly shows the geographical environment and cultural relics and historic sites of Yingtai’s hometown in the form of pictures, photos and physical objects. The unique exterior wall design of the museum, the integrated layout of the museum and garden, and rich exhibitions make it a beautiful scenic line in Shangyu City.


Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, 08:30 – 11:45; Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, 14:00 – 16:45; Closed all day on Monday throughout the year.
