Shanlian Village is located at the foot of Gu Mountain at the junction of Xishan, Changshu and Jiangyin. Looking north from the village is Gu Mountain. The village is densely covered with river networks and has a beautiful environment.
In November 2017, Shanlian Village was awarded as a national civilized village and town in the fifth session.
In December 2017, Shanlian Village won the honor of the 2017 influential village ranking list (top 300).
